Oyster Stew is Mo’s Betta
If you’ve driven along the incredible Oregon Coast, you’ve seen and most likely stopped at Mo’s, the famous local chain of chowder restaurants.
One of the highlight dishes is the oyster stew. It’s a simple repast, but fresh oysters don’t need much more than cream, butter, oyster crackers, some shakes of black pepper and a few lashings of hot sauce if the seafood spirit so moves you.
Side with a salad topped with fresh bay shrimp.
Mo’s is famous for its clam chowder, the restaurant’s mainstay. You can order chowder base.
You’ll have to make oyster stew on your own, but the website offers a tried and true recipe.
