A Whole Bag O’ Fries at Home
When you want to enjoy some french fries at home, but don’t want to break out the peeler and knives, let alone make a mess, Whole Foods Markets offers a convenient solution.
Its 365 house-label frozen french fried potato offerings are easy to make, and are good for the budget minded.
Baked in your oven, traditional or the fun crinkle-cut sticks can be crisped to your taste. If you are adventurous, you can fry them up is some healthy oil.
In true form, you can dip them in some of the surprisingly good and affordable Whole Foods Ketchup, which is less sugary-sweet than many standard brands and stands up well to ‘chips’ and taste comparisons.
Bars of Many Flavors
Notable grain purveyor Kashi
has sweetened the deal in their snack bars offerings.
With the TLC Crunchy Granola Bars line, crisp 7-grain bases are topped with spreads like fruit and nuts — and chocolate.
Of note, the Dark Chocolate Coconut bars are indulgent, with plenty of sweet cacao and shredded coconut flavor.
Other TLC style bars include Cranberry Walnut, Peanutty Dark Chocolate, and Pumpkin Pecan.
They are low-ish in fat and have decent amounts of fiber and protein.
Kashi offers an extensive line of other bars, including crunchy granola and chewy granola styles, as well as Go Lean bars for calorie counters.
