A Rosy Outlook
Seven of Hearts’ Pinot Noir rosé
gushing with flavor
Oregon’s Willamette Valley has become well-regarded as a perfect habitat for the often fussy Pinot Noir vine.
At Seven of Hearts’ home at the Luminous Hills winery in the Yamhill-Carlton AVA, owner Byron Dooley is producing a lively rosé of Pinot Noir.
Built on Burgundian traditions, Dooley’s 2010 bottling is bright with strawberry, pomegranate and honeydew flavors built on a pleasant but slight mineral base.
It is an excellent choice for summer quaffing and goes well with dinner on the patio.
The 2010 rosé was produced in a small batch of 98 cases with a highly affordable $12.00 price.
